Learn to Draw Animals in Three Easy Steps
 
                    

                                         Animals
                                             These are all sketches drawn by my former students.  
 

The way that I taught my students to draw animals is as follows:          

1st draw the outline of the animal                         
2nd draw the positive space of the animal                 
3rd draw the negative space of the animal                
Once you have the boundaries of the animal               
set you can begin to sketch it.                             

                           




                             



















Start by lightly sketching the outline of the animal.
Slowly add in the details of the animal     
(i.e. the eyes, the nose, the mouth…)        
Now begin to add texture         
and shading to the animal
