About the Artist
Hello and welcome to my website. I started off as an Architect, but due to the economy I began to teach Architectural Drafting and AutoCAD in a prison. This was a great opportunity for me to not only teach the students how to draw, but also to learn from them as well. Most of the students came into the class never having drawn anything. They quickly realized that drawing was something that was an easily learned skill. The more the students practiced sketching and drawing, the better their drawings became. Unfortunately, due to Department of Corrections budget cuts, the education programs were closed down. So once again I have switched gears and decided to pursue other ventures.
I have always loved to sketch, doodle, and draw. As a child, I would create floor plans for my future home (or at least I would dream that I would live in a home like the ones I was drawing.) During school I would always make little doodles in my notebooks to make the subject that I was studying more interesting to me.
When I went to college I was able to refine my sketching techniques and learn new techniques as well. Sketching became my way of communicating well with others. It is a way to break down barriers between different people who speak different languages, people with learning disabilites, and so much more.
Now I would like to share what I know and have learned over the years with you. I hope that you find it enlightening and beneficial.
